Yasmin qualified as a solicitor in 2010 having worked for a range of City law firms in London handling high value cross border litigation, property, catastrophic injury and medical negligence matters.
Yasmin is also a Law Lecturer for CILEx courses and the Postgraduate SQE course specialising in teaching Wills and Probate to aspiring lawyers. Her legal practice has continued by acting as a Solicitor-Advocate in civil matters across the South West area.
Yasmin joined Kingfields Solicitors as a Consultant with a keen ambition to make estate planning services accessible, and tailored to individual needs both nationally and internationally.
Yasmin now has her own firm and deals with many clients from around the world who are looking for a Islamic solution to Will disputes.
Yasmin is a member of STEP and has expertise in Islamic Wills and Probate having completed a course on the Fiqh of the Islamic Laws of Inheritance and Islamic Jurisprudence.
After setting up her legal consultancy, AL-HQ Law & More, she has been able to implement a wider range of expertise by working on projects concerning the international community involving resolving disputes through mediation, Islamic Law, Islamic Wills, teaching English legal qualifications such as the SQE and CILEx courses, representing clients as an Advocate for local court hearings and most importantly giving something back to the community by setting up a virtual Law Clinic assisting clients both nationally and globally on matters of English law.
As a consultant, she has ongoing projects with a range of different law firms, educational institutions and law-related organisations, through this model of practice she is adding value and making a positive contribution to the legal industry whilst adhering to all aspects of my faith and is actively committed to the core principles of justice, human rights and matters of faith within the diversity and inclusion spectrum.
Yasmin is a mother of 3 young children and in her spare time enjoys the local Hampshire and Dorset countryside activities with her family.
